Songs from the Street

'Songs from the Street' is a compilation of songs that tell our story.  This is a group project that spun out of the Music Exchange Group--a song writing circle that met during the winter of 2010 at the Homeless Youth Alliance in San Francisco.  All of the equipment was borrowed from supportive partners, and all of the songs are original from artists who have spent time on the road.  For most of these musicians, this is the first time their work has been recorded and shared publicly.  We hope that this music will give you a glimpse into the journey of faith and survival, as seen through the eyes of these artists.
